Hi snoop,

I've downloaded it but when I click on the Installer it close after 2 seconds. What is wrong? When I mount the volum it says that is damged and could corrupt the HD and I should fomat the mounted volum.

The Game works, and I really dont know what it means. (I played it on my PB with 10.3.x and I never had Problems with it. I also got it on my G5 with 10.4.10.
Anyway:
If u re not sure, read the article and repair the DMG File.

Issue or symptom

Mac OS X 10.4.9 improves the ability of Mac OS X to detect damaged or corrupted disk images before mounting them. Mounting a damaged or corrupted disk image can result in data loss or corruption. This alert appears when you try to open or (mount) a damaged disk image:

"The disk image you are opening may be damaged and could damage your system. Are you sure you want to open this disk image?"

If you have another copy of the files that are on the affected disk image

Make a new image in Disk Utility and copy the original files to the new image.
Discard the original, affected image.
As a precaution, open (mount) the new image, open Disk Utility, and repair the new image. Continue to repair until no issues are found.

If you have no other copy of the files on the affected disk image

Try repairing the directory structure of your disk images with Disk Utility.

Make a copy of the affected image in the Finder (select it, then from the Finder's File menu choose Duplicate). A duplicate image whose name ends with "copy" will be created (you will need sufficent free disk space).
Open (mount) the copied disk image file in the Finder. When the alert appears, click "Open".

Important: If you are unable to mount the image in the Finder, the image may be unusable. If you are able to open the image in a previous version of Mac OS X, some data may be damaged. Use the data with caution.

Open Disk Utility (located in the Utilities folder, within the Applications folder).
Select the copied disk image's icon in the left side of the Disk Utility window, then click Repair Disk. A verification will be performed and, if necessary, repairs.
Click Repair again. Repeat this step until no issues are found on the image.

Note: If repairs cannot be performed because the image is read-only, convert the image to a read/write format with a new name (don't replace the existing image with a same-named image). Then perform step 4 and 5 on the converted image. After repairs are complete, you can convert the image back to a read-only format and rename it if desired.
You should now be able to use the disk image without any issues.

Additional information

It is possible for a damaged disk image to cause directory issues to your Mac OS X volume.

But I dont think its necessary. on my tiger/G4 it works fine and i also got these messages at anytime i mount either of these images. BTW I dont know if the program is running on an intelmac. Any feedback appreciated

I have downloaded, burned, installed and played this game. I too, have gotten this damaged image message every time I put the disc into my drive. It has worked every time I put it in and played the game. It works great on Intel Mac. After reading the message above, I have decided to try and fix the disc image. I'll post more feedback when I'm done.

Well I tried a few different things to fix the image file. I haven't had any luck. I don't think it really matters if the image is damaged or bad. The game only needs it to start up anyway. I've had the original game discs and the game never used them during play. You could take them out and the game will still run. If anyone else has a fix, let us know. Other than that, it works fine.

I found a fix!!! You can use any discs to install the game. Even if you have an invalid key and can't get online, you can download the latest patch from battle.net and patch Warcraft III & Expansion. Once you patch to version 1.21b you no longer need the game discs to play!! Enjoy!!

This opens for crafty ways to install the game without having to use nocd's and burning .cdr images ;) I used this to install it on a mac where the CD-drive was broken. Just downloaded it on my other Mac, installed it there, copied everything on to an external hard-drive and pasted it onto my other mac - patched and played.

Thanks for uploading but I have a question. I got got the installation burnt but I can't get the keygen to work. I can't open it and can't find a program to do it. Can you help me?

As I sad in the description: "Its tested on Tiger on a PPC machine". I dont know about limitations in Leopard or on mactel-hardware.

For anything else the description should suffice.

The discs fail to mount

the keygen should start by doubleclicking its icon. there is no additional program required. if it does not here is a serial i found in serial box:

and: you have to burn the cdr-image to a real cd. mounting the image is not sufficient for installing, because of the permissions of the installer.
